Why I like The Body Shop…

Not only do The Body Shop make wonderfully luxurious products that smell and feel amazing, I never feel any guilt when buying them (apart from the hit that my bank balance takes).

Normally The Body Shop products are a bit pricey for me, and only to be bought when I’m feeling indulgent. Despite this, I recently found a deal that was £120 worth of products for only £48. Obviously I jumped at the chance and this is what just arrived…

The Body Shop’s slogan “Beauty with Heart” sums their ethos up perfectly, with their many campaigns centring around: boosting people’s self esteem, protecting the environment, stamping out animal testing and raising awareness and funds to defend human rights. It is worth paying a little extra than normal to be buying a product which is good quality and grounded in ethical practice.

Despite the price, it is also easy to find a nifty little bargain online, as I have done with my haul. Currently if you buy 8 products you get 50% off with free delivery when you spend over £20.

In my huge haul that has just arrived I have the – Coconut: Body Butter, Body Scrub, Shower Cream and Beautifying Oil. Hemp: Hand Wash and Hand Protector. Rose Hand Protector. Almond Nail and Cuticle Oil. Indian Night Jasmine Mist. Atlas Mountain Rose Eau De Toilette, Satsuma: Body Polish and Body Butter. Moringa: Shower Gel and Body Butter. Sweet Pea Duo Body Butter. Peppermint: Foot Lotion and Foot Soak. All in a lovely ‘I Heart The Body Shop’ bag for life.

Once I have used the products for a while I will write a review and let you guys know if anything is worth a buy.

My favourite Body Shop product to date has to be the Satsuma Body Mist! It is gorgeous on its own or alongside other products in the Satsuma collection (e.g. the body butter or body wash). It leaves you smelling fruity and fresh and is a more subtle alternative to perfume.

Hope you have enjoyed the review and have a lovely day 🙂 leave some likes and comments!
