Review: Soap and Glory’s ‘Sexy Mother Pucker’ Lipgloss

Soap and Glory are one of my favourite beauty brands, the packaging is so cute, I adore the quality of the products and they are all affordable. One of their most iconic products is their ‘Sexy Mother Pucker’ lipgloss, which I have been absolutely loving recently.

Although some people are not as enthused with this product, stating it smells funny and is too sticky, I think it is a handbag essential. As someone who suffers from dry lips, I can definitely say that this gloss has improved the coarse feeling and dehydration. I love the fresh and tingly feeling I get from the gloss too. In the past the sensation was a bit too prickly, but it seems they have changed the formula slightly and made the tingle far more pleasant. I’m also obsessed with lip colours and products, and this gloss is great for adding an extra bit of something to your make-up look without looking over the top.

The lipglosses come in a number of colours, but these two have to be my favourite. ‘Candy Gloss’ is such a versatile colour and can be worn over any lipstick to give a more plump and shimmery effect. ‘Pink Apricot’ is also gorgeous as I love coral colours and it looks fab on its own or over a peachy or orangey lipstick.

For those of you looking for a new lipgloss, I would definitely give Soap and Glory’s ‘Sexy Mother Pucker’ a try. I would only suggest avoiding this product if you hate sticky glosses and think a tingly lipgloss effect is undesirable. For me, I think this gloss is perfect for making the lips look fuller, giving off a subtle colour and preventing dryness.
