I am so excited that I have finally jumped on the bandwagon and signed up to a subscription box. I am reluctant to start signing up to glossybox or birchbox as I think I’ll get completely addicted and they are far more pricey. Alternatively, Graze delivers healthy and fun snack options every fortnight (or week or month if you prefer) and costs £3.89 including delivery. With a friendship code you can get your 1st, 5th and 10th graze box completely free. What is great about delivery is that the boxes are made compact enough to pass through your letterbox without the need to sign for a package, which is so convenient.
I have to say I was really impressed with the snacks I got, which is probably because graze has a fantastic system where you tell them your likes and dislikes. This prevented me from receiving anything I took a major disliking to. You can also select a “send soon” option, which I did with the delicious looking brownie, and it was put straight into my box.
The four snacks I received were:
- Banoffee Pie – this resembled a sort of deconstructed banoffee pie and contained fudge pieces, almond slices, pecan nuts and banana coins. This was mostly delicious, and I imagine it would taste great sprinkled over breakfast porridge or mixed in with muesli or other cereal. My one complaint though, is I didn’t like the texture of the banana coins, I expected them to be crunchy and not mushy.
- Pomodoro Rustichella was my next snack, constaining cheese croutons, tomato, basil and oregano almonds and mini tomato breadsticks. I am not a big fan of strong cheesy flavours so was a bit worried about trying the croutons. However, they had such a subtle flavour and were so delicious. I put the pomodoro assortment on top of my soup as flavoured croutons and they went down an absolute treat.
- The Chili and Lime pistachios were my favourite offering from this graze box. I love my spices and the heat from the nuts contrasted with the zesty lime was such a joy to eat. I will definitely be requesting more of these in future boxes.
- Last but not least, was the infamously yummy graze brownie. I like how these were split into three mini pieces, so I was able to have a little taste of them and savour them so they lasted for a longer space of time. They were really light and delicious and I will be sure to request them again.
