Style Steal |The Pastel Satchel

securedownload (9)edit

Ever since the ‘Cambridge Satchel Company’ burst onto the scene a few years ago, I have been absolutely obsessed with satchels. There’s something very effortlessly chic about them and they add a playful feel to any look.

Unfortunately, the majority of us do not have the money to spend a hefty £100 on a satchel. I have seen mini-satchels, affordable alternatives, in Topshop and River Island, which are great. I was deliberating whether to treat myself to a small yellow satchel from Topshop which would have put me back £20, but decided to visit Primark first for a little snoop. It was then that I saw this gorgeous pastel yellow satchel which came in at just £6, an absolute bargain!

Those of you who have wanting to purchase a satchel should definitely check out Primark. They have an array of small and large satchels that are very reasonably priced. I decided to go for the yellow small bag because pastel colours are so in trend this Spring/Summer. Also, pairing a pop of colour with a monochrome outfit looks super stylish and will really add some intrigue to my usual predictable black clothing choices.

What do you guys think of satchels? Have any of you picked up any bargains recently? Let me know in the comments!

  1. They’re really nice for adding some polish to an outfit. I’m seriously considering picking up a dress for a work trip I’m taking next week. Either that or get some fabric on sale to make a maxi skirt. Decisions, decisions!
