The Body Shop Haul

It’s no secret that I’m absolutely obsessed with The Body Shop. I have been slathering myself in their body butters and moisturisers for years and the novelty still hasn’t worn off.

I have had a bit of a stressful week at work, so I decided to take a trip to Oxford Street with my boyfriend yesterday for some retail therapy. I couldn’t resist going into The Body Shop, and this is what I got my hands on.

1. Passion Fruit Body Butter – I have loved TBS body butters for a while now, but have never tried this scent before. It has the right amount of oomph in its fragrance and so far I am really enjoying it! I managed to bag this for just £5 as it’s in the sale at the mo. I’ll let you guys know what I think in an empties post which will be coming soon.

2. Raspberry Body Scrub – I gave in to this product as it has been raved about so much! I don’t usually use scrubs, but my skin has been quite dry so I thought I’d give this a go. I’m finding it hard to resist eating it, as it smells and looks like the yummiest raspberry jam. It was a bit pricey at £12.50, so I’ll have to see if it lives up to expectations.

3. Camomile Waterproof Eye and Lip Make-up Remover – I’ve heard Amelia Liana absolutely rave about the Camomile Cleansing Oil, but the waterproof factor in the make-up remover appealed to me more. I used it yesterday to take of Benefit’s They’re Real Mascara (which is notoriously difficult to remove) as well as my face make-up, and I have to say I was really impressed! I got some in my eye and it still felt so gentle. It didn’t burn at all like some other removers which I have found to be too harsh. I would definitely give this product a go, and it’s reasonably priced at £8.

4. Finally, skin care was buy 1 get 1 half price, so I couldn’t resist getting my hands on the Elderflower Eye Gel, which is £7 at full price. I have been experimenting with eye creams for a while now as I hate my dark and dry under-eye circles. I am thinking of doing a post on the best eye creams, so let me know if you guys would like to see it!

Thanks for reading everyone 🙂 give me a comment and make my day!

  1. I love TBS! This post makes me happy 🙂 I also love how the makeup remover is so gentle! I am also a huge fan of their tea tree skin care line 🙂

  2. I’d love to see a post on the best eye creams. I’m switching up my skin care at the moment so any recommendations on eye creams would be great.

The Body Shop is brilliant isn’t it? I love their Moringa body butter and their Seaweed face scrub. Oh and their Born Lippy lip balms. Sounds geeky but I think the customer service in Body Shop is excellent too. So much better than Boots! 🙂

  3. I really badly want to try out that body scrub, it looks and smells so cool! Would love to see your review on it and the cleansing oil too 🙂 xxx

  4. That elderflower eye gel is such a classic. It was one of the first The Body Shop products I ever bought – 17 years ago! o_O I did love it. Maybe I should go back to it, for the sake of nostalgia. I love how the packaging doesn’t seem to have changed either!

  5. What I love about the Camomile is that it’s not irritating, I have sensitive-allergic-to-everything skin and I get rashes often. And yum yum that scent of raspberry ❤

  6. I loooove the body shops scents and products also 🙂 I knew the raspberry collection was coming out but not the passionfruit collection, so Im very excited atm! 😀 We don’t have them here yet (Aus is always behind in these things it seems..) but I know what I will be buying once it gets here 😉 *waves* p.s I’m really enjoying exploring your blog!
