To my knowledge, despite around 10 months of blogging, I’ve never done an empties post. I think this is because I’m too scatty/lazy to look after products after I’m finished with them. Finally though, I’ve managed to gather six products that are all gone and thought I’d talk you through them. The great thing about empties posts is that you can hear someone’s fully formed opinion on a product and whether they’d purchase it again. I really hope you enjoy it & let me know if you think I should do more posts like this 🙂

1) Tend Skin Ingrown Hair Solution

This feels like a bit of an odd thing to proclaim on the internet, but it really works so I’ll sacrifice a bit of embarrassment to help some of you guys out. If you have sensitive skin and suffer from razor bumps & ingrown hairs, this product could become your best friend. I’ve tried tea tree and a lot of other formulas that haven’t worked as well. Although it isn’t an absolute miracle worker, it really has helped me and made me less self conscious. It’s so easy to apply and work into your routine and I’ll definitely be purchasing it again.

2) The Body Shop Coconut Body Scrub

Now I really didn’t think I’d be overly-enamoured with this one. I bought my mum some coconut body products last Christmas as she’s really into the scent. Although she’s used up the body lotions and butters, the scrub was left neglected. I’m not a big coconut fan, but I found myself becoming addicted to this scrub. I prefer it to the Raspberry Body Shop Scrub (which everyone raves about). The scrub particles are finer, so smooth the skin better without being too abrasive.  The scent really lingers after use, but in a sexy subtle way. I literally come out of the bath feeling like a goddess and will definitely be purchasing another when I’ve used my raspberry one up.

3) Impulse Body Spray in Very Pink

This one’s a right throwback. I’m pretty sure Impulse Body Sprays were the first spray deodorants I used in my early teens. I was recently away and couldn’t take a load of products with me, so this mini was the perfect travel companion. I used it up so quickly because spraying it just felt like nostalgia! Would definitely recommend picking one up if you’re going on a short-trip anywhere. The smell was a bit teenage but I kind of liked it. Will gladly repurchase for my next travel adventure.

4) The Body Shop Camomile Waterproof Eye & Lip Make-up Remover

Felt like I was writing a novel when typing out that mouthful of a product name. There’s not much to say about this one, apart from that it removes all your make-up in and instant. Give it a shake up and apply with a cotton pad and it dissolves the product without irritating or pulling on the skin. A massive favourite of mine which I’m feeling a bit lost without at the moment.

5) Soap and Glory Supercat Liner

Anyone who sucks at applying make-up (especially of the winged liner variety like myself), will be best friends with this product. It makes application so easy, like you’re literally using a felt tip pen. I’m enjoying my new L’Oreal liner at the moment, but I do think I’ll come back and repurchase the Soap and Glory one at some point.

6) Lush Cupcake Face Mask

You can read my full review of this here. I love this face mask, as well as the BB Seaweed one by Lush. They’re awesome and leave your skin as smooth as a baby’s bum.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! It has felt weird getting back into the swing of writing this week but I’m really enjoying being back. I feel that this post has been me just raving about products, but if something’s empty the chances are that I’ve loved using it haha! Hope you’re all doing well & I’d love it if you left me a comment down below, they really make my day 🙂 Lots of love!

  1. I’m not sure I ever get empties! I get bored too easily, but certainly something I should look at.
If you are a fan of the Lush face masks, I’d recommend the Love Lettuce mask. It’s gorgeous! It also has bits of almond shell in it, giving you the benefit of an exfoliating mask.

Love S&G Supercat too, it’s excellent, last’s ages!

    Great post!

  2. I should probably check my skeletons of empties. I start and stop products to easily I never fully finish a product. Good post x
