Last week was a really pressurising one for me – deadlines and a tonne of reading can leave you feeling tired and demotivated. During these times I usually take time out to give myself some TLC. As I’ve already done a pampering products post, I decided I’d let you guys in on what music I listen to when I’m feeling stressed. When completing university assignments or other general boring tasks, I like to have a few relaxing tunes rolling along in the background. I’m a huge fan of acoustic music, and find that playing softer songs is inspiring and motivating without being too much of a distraction. Whenever I try more upbeat music I find myself dancing around my room crazily and singing at the top of my voice! (I save these songs for early mornings instead). Here are my top 5 songs to listen to when I’m working.
1. I Don’t Want to Change You – Damien Rice
2. Lines – Lucy Rose
3. Free Fallin’ – John Mayer
4. I Can’t Make You Love Me – Bon Iver
5. Empty Corridors – Ben Howard
This was a bit of a different post for me, so I hope you guys enjoyed it! If you’d be interested in knowing my top 5 motivation morning songs, let me know in the comments! What songs do you guys like to listen to when you have to be productive? Leave a comment down below & make my day 🙂
