Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess

IMG_5342As I spritzed the last of my beloved Jo Malone cologne in English Pear and Freesia, I was reassured in the knowledge that I’d soon be passing through duty free and could purchase another! To my horror, there is no Jo Malone counter at Luton Airport, so I reluctantly sidled into Duty Free to see if there was anything else that came close. To be perfectly honest, I didn’t expect to find anything as I’m quite fussy with fragrance.

After a long time spraying, sniffing and stomping down the different aisles, I stumbled across Bronze Goddess by Estee Lauder. Experts say it has citrusy top notes of lemon, mandarin and bergamot, floral heart notes, and base notes of vanilla and coconut. The extent of my personal fragrance knowledge is limited and I can only really establish whether I like the smell or not! What I can say though is that the coconut and citrus definitely comes through and it is a really fresh, tropical scent.

Even though it’s quite a summery fragrance, I can imagine wearing this perfume throughout autumn in an attempt to transport me back to my sunny summer memories. If you haven’t given this fragrance a sniff, I would highly recommend you check it out!

  1. I sadly can’t wear perfumes anymore due to developing allergies 😦 I used to love Salvatore Ferragamo’s perfume (forget the name) and Tocca’s Simone
